Delivery costs, methods and times

1. DELIVERY TIMES

Please note that the stated delivery times are guidelines. Minor delays are possible if the product, sold subject to availability, is not available in our partners' stores. We are sure we can count on your understanding in these circumstances.

 

2. DELIVERY OF PRODUCTS AVAILABLE IN STORE

All products available in our store are marked Immediate delivery.

They will be consigned to the courier within 24/48 working hours after acceptance of your order.

 

3. DELIVERY OF PRODUCTS NOT AVAILABLE IN STORE

For products not in store, we specify the average supply times stated by the manufacturer. In this case the products will be ordered from the manufacturer, and delivery times will depend on the manufacturer's production capacity and/or whether the products are available from the manufacturer. Therefore the stated delivery times are not binding in these cases.


4. SHIPMENT OF ORDERS

Orders will not be prepared for shipment until payment has been received.

All orders including both "Immediate delivery" and "to order" (i.e. not in store) products will be shipped in accordance with the delivery times for the latter.

 

5. DELIVERY COSTS

The easiest way of finding out what delivery will cost is to place your products in the cart - you can always remove them later. Our calculation system will then show you the delivery costs for your order.

Your delivery address will be saved in your user profile.

If you log in and navigate on Rubinetteria.com, your cart will show the delivery costs for the address linked to your profile.

 

6. PACKAGING COSTS

The most fragile products, such as ceramics, mirrors, furniture, glass finishes, bathtubs, etc. need special packaging to keep them intact during transportation. Goods are shipped in the supplier's original packaging, or in another form of specially prepared packaging, always sealed with Rubinetteria.com custom tape.

The most suitable packaging will be selected for each order, choosing from:

Standard packaging in cardboard boxes or bags

Half pallet

Euro pallet

Bathtub pallet

XXL bathtub pallet

Special packaging

7. SHIPPING TIMES

You will be kept informed about the status of your order/delivery by email, or can check your account for real-time information about:

  •          Acceptance of your order
  •          Consignment to the courier
  •          Delivery tracking

 

8. DELIVERY METHODS

All orders are consigned to the relative courier according to the product's type and size.

All products are delivered to the street floor of your building.

Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday, from 8.30 AM to 6 PM.

The first delivery is made without notice. If you are not at home, the courier leaves a note. You must contact the courier, within 4 days, to set a new delivery time, or arrange to collect the goods yourself from the courier's nearest depot.

If the courier is unable to deliver, the product will be returned to our stores, the order will be cancelled and you will be refunded using your chosen payment method, with deduction of the return carriage costs.

 

9. DELIVERY COSTS AND METHODS

Rubinetteria.com delivers throughout Italy except for: Livigno, San Marino, Vatican City, Campione D'Italia and lesser islands. With regard to the islands, products are only delivered to Sicily, not including the archipelagos and lesser islands (e.g. Aegadian Islands, Aeolian Islands, Ustica, Pantelleria etc.) and Sardinia, not including the lesser islands (such as Caprera and La Maddalena). In addition, deliveries are not made to PO boxes or poste restante addresses, mail box points or similar locations, military and APO addresses, hotels, hostels or prisons.

If the delivery address entered in your order form is one of the above locations, the purchase contract cannot be finalised and Rubinetteria.com will refund any sums you have already paid.

 

10. DELIVERIES IN EUROPE AND OUTSIDE THE EU

For delivery outside Italy, please request a special quotation by writing to info@rubinetteria.com.

 

11. CHECKS ON RECEIPT OF THE GOODS

BEFORE ACCEPTING THE GOODS

  1. Check, in the courier's presence, that the packaging is intact, undamaged and not wet or tampered with, including the tapes (which must be the custom Rubinetteria.com type). Also check the number of packs.
  2. If possible, unpack the product at once and check it for damage.
  3. If the packaging is damaged (dents, tears, knocks, etc.) or if the number of packs does not correspond, you must lodge a complaint immediately with the courier who delivers the goods, signing with a specific reservation and stating the type of damage on the courier's delivery note (e.g. "accepted under reservation due to torn packaging, ..).
  4. If the courier does not allow you to enter your reservation, refuse delivery of the goods.
  5. Even if the packaging is intact, we advise you to write "Goods accepted under reservation, pending inspection of the products” to allow claims to be made for any damage found when the goods are unpacked. You must check the goods within 5 days of receipt; any hidden damage must be reported to the courier by registered letter with return receipt, describing the damage and the condition of the packaging.
  6. If the material inside is damaged even though the packaging is intact, report the damage within 5 days of receipt of the product.
  7. Remember that under art. 1698 of the Italian Civil Code you are fully entitled to accept delivery under reservation. Once you have signed the courier's document, you will no longer be entitled to make any complaints concerning the external characteristics of the goods delivered.

 

12. COMPLAINTS

  • Any complaints concerning delivery of the products and their characteristics on delivery must be reported to Rubinetteria.com by email to info@rubinetteria.com.
  • You must lodge a complaint about any external damage or missing packs with the courier at once and also report them to Rubinetteria.com by email to info@rubinetteria.com within 5 days of delivery.
  • You must report any non-visible damage discovered after delivery of the products to Rubinetteria.com by email to info@rubinetteria.com within 5 days of its discovery.

 

 

Under art. 63 of Legislative Decree no. 21 of 21.02.2014, the risk of loss of or damage to goods, due to circumstances beyond the vendor's control, is not transferred to the consumer until he, or a third party he has designated, other than the courier, actually takes possession of the goods. Risk is transferred to the consumer from consignment of the goods to the courier if the latter has been chosen by the consumer and was not recommended by the vendor, without prejudice to the consumer's rights in relation to the courier.

It is therefore essential to take the greatest care when taking delivery of the goods and signing for receipt, since after that moment the courier no longer has any liability, also with regard to insurance and compensation. You assume full responsibility for the contents of any declarations you make.
