Circulators

A circulator, also known as a boiler pump, is a pump used to circulate hot water in domestic central heating and air conditioning systems, either closed and pressurised or open vessel.
It features a single body consisting of a bronze hydraulic part and a wet rotor motor, a die-cast aluminium motor casing and a technopolymer impeller, a hardened stainless steel motor shaft mounted on graphite bushings lubricated by the pumped liquid. The two-pole, asynchronous, wet-rotor motor is resistance protected and does not require any overload protection.
A circulator, which operates at three speeds, consists of a fan placed in a cylindrical body. The water arrives from the boiler circulator and the small fan, acting like a mill, pushes it towards the domestic circuit.
The circulator is a very important component because when heat is required in the house, for example by opening the hot water tap, the boiler starts combustion and at this point the circulator pushes the water into the hydraulic circuit where it will be heated and then channelled to the taps.
